The Rockwood Street Grill is located in the quaint downtown district of Rockwood, TN, one of the small towns on the Tennessee River. Specializing in BBQ ribs, char broiled steaks and Southern, home-cooked meals, we have become a favorite Rockwood restaurant for tourists and locals alike. Our delicious food is also available for catering and event planning.
As if our fabulous food wasn’t special enough, we also are one of the most historic Rockwood restaurants. Our building is believed to have been constructed in the late 1800s or early 1900s. It has seen many changes over the years, from a grocery store, a law firm, a beauty shop, a clothing store, a consignment shop and an antique mall with a tea room to the full service restaurant it is today.
Even though the building has seen a lot of reconstruction and remodeling it now is a very handsome restaurant, with its warm antique brick exterior and interior walls and archways, the brass chandeliers and the elegant wall hangings and accessories. Our talented and friendly kitchen staff has such a passion for making sure each customer leaves feeling as though they have enjoyed a home cooked meal. Our servers have lived in the area long enough to know most everyone that comes into our establishment by their first name and if they don’t know you… well, you will be made to feel like you are one of their best friends.
